There is a lot of talks going on for a new social media platform. Is that Clubhouse? Answer is Yes!. When released in 2020, it is only available for iOS users that allows you to host and join audio conversations with other users.. But recently it is also available for Android users. Currently app is invite only, but it will open for all in coming future.
What is Clubhouse?
Clubhouse was launched back in April 2020 as an iOS app. It is a new social media platform based on audio. Since it’s voice-only and doesn’t use device camera, Clubhouse hopes you won’t worry about anything like eye contact or Physical involvement as needed in other social media apps. You can use the app while doing anything like eating, jogging and because there’s no typing, all your emotion should be accurately conveyed through voice.
On clubhouse there is no picture or videos. So, You are good to go and make unique presence in front of good audience only with your profile pic and your voice. A great platform to connect with celebrity, intellectuals, creators & entrepreneur directly with your voice.
How does Clubhouse work?
Since Clubhouse is created for being a place to meet, talk, and share ideas without writing and in real voice with emotions the app is pretty basic. Audio-only feature attracts more people towards this due to direct communication involving accurate transfer of emotions through voice. It lets you create and join “rooms” — where you can’t share pictures, videos, or even text. All you can do is talk with others in a conference call. Users can join and leave the call at any time. When you start using app You will find a list of rooms that are ongoing.
You can enter the room by tapping on it; they are all open to enter or exit. Clubhouse wants users to engage in a variety of conversations. As an audience member, you can enter any room but one at a time. If you want to speak, you “raise your hand,” and the speakers can choose whether or not to invite you up. Experts, celebrities, journalists, Artist and others frequently host clubhouse rooms. You can also create a room of your own. There is also a moderator in each room to ensure the healthy dialogues in the room.
How to join Clubhouse?
The creators of Clubhouse say they intend to build the app for everyone to use and are working to make it available as soon as possible. It is currently in beta because the general release version is not yet ready. Clubhouse says it wants to gradually expand its community so that the community’s composition remains diverse, and we can tune the experience.
You won’t be able to instantly join Clubhouse as a result of all of this. It is by invitation only, thus anyone interested in joining must be invited by someone who is already in clubhouse. You can download the app, reserve a handle, and sign up for the waiting list, but you’ll have to wait. It is also available for android users now, so if any of your friend already joined Clubhouse ask them to invite.
